As fall-winter fashion gives a nod to the 70's disco era, we're seeing an array of larger-than-life earrings that pops up on the catwalks.

These dramatic earrings make the perfect jewelry to spice up any outfit. And they're not as intimidating an accessory as they look: Oversized earrings flatter just about every face shape and visually make your features look more petite.

Designers took the concept of long earrings to the next level by creating designs that might even reach our shoulders creating a more sculptural and classy effect. Those who were always crazy about the baroque look these details would add to our ensembles will be thrilled to launch a real quest for the most flattering jewelry pieces from the market that suit all face shapes and complement all hair styles; from short pixies to shoulder-grazing bobs, just keep hair off your face to show off those statement jewelry. If you have long hair, try wearing it back in a loose updo or this season's stylish braid.

One of the newest trends in fashion is the feathers/pony-hair trend, which is absolutely gorgeous as it manages to attract attention in a very feminine and extravagant sort of way. The way the feathers are decorating the outfits can make a huge difference, allowing fashion designers to be highly creative with their designs.

It looks absolutely delightful and it suits different occasions as they are elegant and different at the same time, allowing your outfit to stand out. You can accessorize it differently to obtain the desired results, if you are looking for a relatively simple and elegant outfit or you are looking for something more extravagant. Choose the outfit style that suits best your personality and you will definitely look adorable, stylish and unique.

You can use it in different ways: whether in a shniny gold leather jacket or a mini beaded dress in gold sequins.

Exist so my shapes, textures and styles to use this trend, you only need make it work!
The hardest part will be choose the favourite form.

Choose a lipstick with a soft pink hue for feminine attention-grabbing lips. A candy-colored hue brightens your face and makes a subtle statement.

Apply sleek black liner in the corners of your lids for a spunky twist that will draw attention to your eyes. A very sharp pencil works, but liquid liner is your best bet for getting a cool, catty style. Chic and easy!

Brush black and grey eyeshadow on your lids and rim your eyes in thick kohl for a smoldering yet surprisingly daytime-friendly look. The best part about it is that though it will turn heads, it only takes a second—simply smudge on and go!

Step out of your comfort zone by applying a vibrant color like blue or purple across your lower lid. By keeping the rest of your beauty look simple, your eyes take center stage—and you don't have to spend hours applying your makeup.

There's no substitute for an all-natural look; adding just a bit of blush to your cheeks will add a flirty, youthful flush. To get ready in the morning, just wash and moisturize your face and sweep on some blush before running to class!

The amazing about this looks is that you just add a little rimel or lip gloss and you are ready-to-go! Also you can mix them to have a complet and stronger look. The idea is, have a nice morning makeup to go to school without loosing time and looking good.

While some maisons put forward the return of the lady-like 50's style, the street imposes its law: the western chic. Using Pocahontas as an inspiration the streets are full of fringed vests, embroidered tops and sandals, this trend is irresistible because of its youthful and adventurous look. With lofty materials such as cotton, denim and leather colored in earthy tones, coral and turquoise mixed with gold and red.

The perfect way to get this look is using wide-brimmed hats, ethnic or cowboy boots, sandals, fringed totes and a lot of handmade-look accessories. The hair looks is good with some braids and the make up is very simple and natural. The way to display this look is making subtle accents in your garments, no making it the entire look.

I didn't think of knitting as a trend, probably because I hadn't saw anyone doing it for so long, until I saw this picture on the Sartorialist.

Knitting is something I'd imagine my mom or my grandmother doing, but it seems like a whole new trend is developing. People are now knitting on trains, coffee shops, the subway and bookstores.
I did some research on the knitting scene in Portugal and turns out we have some knitting clubs around! Anyone is welcome to come by and learn or talk about their projects.

What do you think? Is knitting an upcoming trend?
