Donna Karan had the responsibilities to show her collection on the tenth anniversary of 9-11 and no designer shows the energies and feelings of New York City like her.

It’s usual to her, show a collection for cosmopolitan, sophisticated and classic women, but for next season will be amazing!!

DKNY show can be divided in two groups of colors: neutral colors (black, white cream and tan) and bright colors (electric blue, red and pink). These colors can be used in two ways monochromatic or head-to-toe print!

The ‘step dress-shirt-skirt’ was a constant in Karan runway: the dress or skirt was short in front and big in back. In order to complete these clothes, the DK women can use an Anorak or the classic blazer. The target was rewarded with big hats and colorful handbags and wedges. Do you wanna best accessories, to complete your outfit? I don’t think so…

It was a collection that shows the different ways to live in the city that never sleep, where a day never have 24h and a woman need to be well in different situations.

Imagine your summer in Miami Beach or Palm Springs? Have you ever imagined? Now, think in the perfect wardrobe…Jill Stuart gives the answer, and you don’t need to think a lot in this detail.

Jill Stuart makes everything so easy, just like a dream. The designer said after her show in the third day of New York Fashion Week: “I wanted it to look like a dream, a fantasy, a fairytale”. When we think in dream and fairytale, we always imagine sweat colors: bubblegum pinks, powder blues, mint green, beige and lemony yellows.

Who has been following this fashion week can conclude that, this last color (lemony yellows) will be present in many collections in the next season.

The silhouette feminine, elegant and charming was very present during the show of the designer. Moreover, the feminine and elegant silhouette is really common in her collections. For completing the figure of the young women, Jill Stuart adds some favoring textures to midi-skirts, playing with layers and low waists.

The palm trees and birds flying were the main prints on shirts, giving a light air and youngest.
Here in The Morning Magazine, we thought that the collection of Jill Stuart is adequate to her customers and very ready – to – wear in our daily life.

When questionated about her inspiration, Rebecca Taylor answered that “…Inspiration is so ephemeral…”.  The designer refers that her inspiration comes from various sources: the Louvre or her internship wardrobe (such a difference!!).

If you see all of the clothes created by Rebecca Taylor you can concluded two things: she has a preference for piecework and collage in her clothes. Added to these characteristics we can refer floating dresses and midi-skirts. The principal colors present on the runway were citrus colors, flower prints and cornflower blue. These colors were mixed with some color sequins, that give a touch of elegance to the collection.

It’s necessary to refer the adorable bags presents in some outfits. The color of the bag was soft pink, that was a color present in some shows of NYFW.
